Daimler

Daimler had two priorities when it started a multi-year partnership with FashioNXT in 2018. To elevate its brand recognition in Portland, where its North American headquarters are located, as a strong community partner. In 2019 Daimler elevated its partnership by hosting FashioNXT in its headquarters campus.

In 2018, FashioNXT executed a multi-pronged campaign for Daimler. To elevate its brand reputation from being a trucking company to a mobility company, FashioNXT facilitated and activated a partnership between Alinker, a mobility enhancement company, Oregon Active, a non-profit facilitating active lifestyles for the mobility impaired, and Daimler.

Activation of such a unique partnership on and off the runway addressed the core of the stigma mobility-impaired. Daimler donated an Alinker bike for a mobility-impaired youth, bringing positive attention for Daimler’s commitment to the mobility-impaired demographic, both amongst the attendees as well as huge media coverage from major regional TV channels and lifestyle magazines.

Daimler also became the Presenting Sponsor of the FashioNXT VIP Lounge, which elevated Daimler’s brand engagement with the most influential attendees. As one of the most significant contributors to the Portland economy, DTNA wanted to elevate its brand recognition to the biggest group of influential audience in a creative event in the city. FashioNXT VIP Lounge offered that curated engagement with DTNA brand from the very entrance of the space to inside the lounge.

In 2019, Daimler hosted FashioNXT on its campus in its R&D Center building. It was part of Daimler’s brand priority to elevate its recognition as a supporter of the creative economy and diversity.
Daimler presented its latest and cutting-edge technology innovations in its vehicles on display for the attendees. It also showed its Pride Truck to highlight its support forthe  Portland LGBTQ community.
It secured major media from the biggest regional TV channels — KGW, KOIN, FOX 12, some of whom live-cast from the runway site.
