FashioNXT today released the names of the much-anticipated finalists of UpNXT Emerging Designers Accelerator who will compete at the runway finale on Oct 6th the opening night of 2023 FashioNXT Week (Oct 5-7). Runway premieres at the 10th Anniversary Show.
A panel of three of the most influential personalities in Portland’s fashion/media industry including Ken Boddie- Anchor(KoinTV/Channel 6), Seth Aaron (Project Runway & Project Runway All-Stars Winner: Designer, Los Angeles,CA), and Katie Becker(Boutique Consultant) chose talented new designers’ brands from Portland and Seattle- In a Zoom Auction — By Oxana Oke. (Portland, OR), FELICIANO (Portland, OR), House of Rose (Portland, OR), inkthethink (Portland,OR) Studio Linq (Portland,OR), Tinarie Creations (Seattle, WA). All of whom will be going through an incubator program that focuses on topics within the contemporary fashion business, and the UpNXT winner will be decided by the attendees and judges at the Oct 5th runway finale. The winner’s prize package is curated to boost the talented designer for a year and a half period, which includes a cash prize, promotions, and retail relationships, and culminates into a full runway show in the following year’s FashionNXT Week.
