Hundreds of Local Stylists Say It’s Too Dangerous for Salons to Reopen
With many states around the country already opening back up, or starting the process of reopening amid the Coronavirus Pandemic, hair salons have been on people’s minds since the pandemic began. Now with Oregon allowing some rural counties to apply for reopening as early as May 15th, many wonder if hair salons will be included in Phase 1 of Governor Kate Brown’s reopening plan. But many hair stylists have indicated that they are not quite ready to open back up in fear of contracting the virus and putting their communities at risk.
