FashioNXT Announces Seven Emerging Emerging Designers for Runway Finale on Oct 3
FashioNXT today released the names of the much anticipated finalists of UpNXT Emerging Designers Accelerator who will compete at the runway finale on Oct 3rd, the opening night of 2018 FashioNXT Week (Oct 3-6).
A panel of four of the most influential personalities in Portland’s fashion industry including Chris Bevans – Creative Director at Dyne, Almarina Bianchi – Product Integrity Manager Pendleton Woolen Mills, Andrea Beaulieu – Moore Custom Goods, and boutique owner Anne Bocci chose seven talented new designers’ brands — Madison Iverson, Ale O, Sloane White Couture, Tulleon Lace, Moirai, Jennifer Phillips, and Tammi Barker. All of them will be going through a incubator program which focuses on topics within the contemporary fashion business, and the UpNXT winner will be decided by the attendees and judges at the Oct 3rd runway finale. Winner’s prize package is curated to boost the talented designer for year and a half period, that includes a cash prize, promotions and retail relationships, and culminates into a full runway show in following year’s FashionNXT Week.
UpNXT is the only fashion accelerator program on the West Coast catapulting emerging designers to successful careers, including mentorship through FashioNXT Incubator*, and other career development support.
