L’Oreal Technology Incubator launched UV Sense, a new beauty-technology to monitor UV exposure, this week at CES. Developed by Yves Behar (Chief Creative Officer of of Jaw Bone) founder of Fuseproject this beautiful device is to be worn on your nail with adhesive. This electronic sensor is only 2 mm thick and 9 mm long, and runs without battery, the first such device. The NFC technology enables user to download UV exposure data for up to three months into their mobile phone.
It’s being marketed under dermatological skin-care brand La Roche Posey.
